About SELLLN

SELLLN’s key priority is to make sure that vocational learners have fair opportunities to progress to and through higher education. Our work to promote this is mostly in these areas:

•    Creating progression agreements which specify what a vocational learner needs to achieve to enter a particular HE programme
•    Supporting additional learning prior to entering HE to maximise the learner’s chance of success in HE
•    Identifying learning opportunities in our FE and HE partners’ programmes, and identifying potential professional development
•    Helping partners to develop new programmes for higher level learning
•    Enhancing information, advice and guidance to learners, parents and practitioners
•    Networking with a broad range of agencies, such as the sector skills councils, accreditation bodies, employer representatives, Foundation Degree Forward and Aimhigher to make sure our partners gain from the benefits and opportunities that these organisations offer.
